SEVEN of 10 computer software programs in the Philippines are pirated, a study by an industry group of multinational information technology revealed. The global software piracy study by Business Software Alliance (BSA) also noted that the piracy rate in the Philippines increased one basis point in 2011 to 70 percent from 69 percent in the previous year.
